.. in other news: i was walking past this particularly shiny building (i believe it was the ANZ building) and to my horror i saw in my reflection that i walk with a rather noticable slouch.. actually its more of a lean than a slouch. how come nobody ever told me before? i then attempted to walk upright.. and i found it quite uncomfortable.. ill have to work on my posture.. maybe walk around with a stack of DVDs on my head or something =p

its days like these..
work is the most boringest thing ever atm.. im totally just rocking up and checking my mail for 8 hours a day. i have one thing to do.. but it appears to be unfixable.. so im not really sure what the hell to do about it... =p

i cant wait to go home tonite.. i slept in today.. so i was a bit late for work.. im so tired.. im literally falling asleep now. ZZZzzz.. the addition of msn messenger at work hasnt seemed to keep me occupied.. cos no one ever seems to wanna chat in the day time. i spose theyre saving it for 2am when theyre all online. =p

in other news: i heard yesterday that im apparently going out with <<insert name of girl whose name i wont publish to save her from embarassment>> .. wow that is good news.. how come i never hear about these things?? =p sadly the news is not true.. i wish i could get half as many girls as ppl seem to think i do =p i guess ppl do like to speculate.. hrm.. it has been a while .... im ok with that though =)

i stumbled upon a couple of CDs at my house.. and they were filled with videos and pictures from the time when i went to HK and singapore.. 2 and a bit years ago. its pretty hilarious. my hair is totally out of control.. i dunno whats going on. also in the videos my voice is all high and whiny.. pretty funny. ahh i miss those days of travelling.. i wanna go on another big trip.. but its so hard to find ppl to travel with nowadays.. every1 is too busy growing up. so.. anyone wanna go some place? im thinking Canadia.. or maybe somewhere in South America =)

looong weekend..
ok a totally busy long weekend. im pretty exhausted due to a combination of excessive exercise and lack of sleep. heres a quick wrap up::

:: friday
i took an RDO to do some things. started by sleeping in =)
i got up and went to meet hunt at newtown to go shopping for second hand suits for this bucks party. but on the way i spied a Vinnies out the window of the train at West Ryde, so i hopped out to have a closer look. totally hit the jackpot with secodn hand suits in that place. there was a vast array of tuxedos, leisure suits and tartan three piece suits =) even better was that a few of them actually fit me. i ended up getting this really cool dark brown suit, its heaps indy.. like the sorta thing Ben Lee or someone would wear =p a bargain at only $15 =)

i ended up meeting hunt, but i didnt need to buy a suit anymore =p so he jsut bought this oversized kinda dark aqua colored one. it was cool too. but didnt have the re-wearability that mine had. after talking to nathan at work about how our "casual fridays" were getting more and casual every friday, we decided to have Suit Wednesday, where we all over dress in full suits n ties. so at least i wont have to wear the same suit every week now =p

me and hunt went to eat that this really nice quiet jap restaurant on a side street.. mm i miss jap food.. i soooo wanna go back to japan... *sigh* ...

afterwards i went to paddys market in an attempt to purchasing a matching hat for my suit, but to no avail. i did however bump into monica, who was buying herself a new phone.. (she tends to go thru phones rather quickly =p). anyways she joined me in shopping for an engagement gift for minh n thao... she wasnt really much help.. kept telling me to buy a portable BBQ.. *shrugs*...

:: saturday
ok this was maybe the most jam packed day ever for me.. right up there with the day i came home from a day of snowboarding in perisher, back to thornleigh.. then went clubbing till 4am. hehe but it was easily the biggest which didnt involve alcohol =) anyways... started by waking up at about 7:30 cos i had to get to parramatta by 9:30 for anime club soccer. the first soccer id played since... well ever =p we got there at 9:40.. a lil bit late.. but suprise suprise... no one else was anywhere in sight =p stupid anime ppl.. i shouldve known that they never turn up on time anyways.. it was well after 10 before we spotted any other people. gees..

anyways the UTS team displayed a fair amount of ownage on the UNSW team.. although it was apparently their second string team. we won 7-0. hunt got 5, chito got 1 .. and even i got one!! u know the defence isnt very good if i score a goal =p but to their credit, they were played two girls on the field when they didnt have to. and one of the girls was pretty good actually.

after a bit of sitting around, we played in a exhibition vs the UNSW first team, cos mac uni didnt show. anyways it was a much closer game.. cos they were actually pretty good. they had a girl who was pretty mad. their defence mostly consisted of hacking at peoples ankles though. which kinda sucks.. but i was playing in dunlop volleys so maybe i just noticed it more in this game =p anyways i managed to hurt my ankle cos its about as durable as roof tiles made of gingerbread. the not top ten play of the week goes the UTS cheer squad for pointing and laughing as i hobbled off the field. thats pretty lame...

anyways.. onwards to khanh's farewell at centennial park. chito decided to take a "shortcut" through newtown.. where we sat in traffic for about 40 mins =p we finally got there heaps after the food was gone .. so we sat around and drank mountain dew *shudder*. it was kinda cool.. a quietish picnic.. no ruckus action really.. but i was pretty tired at that point.. so it was all a bit of a blur =p

.. meh.. next was down to Bonnet Bay for the start of hunt's bucks party. we jsut hung out and ate some food had some drinks.. watched some snowboard DVD.. chilled out and chatted with just the boys for once =) we were all decked out in our suits .. and looked pretty swish i must say .. hehe. nice not to have everyone is tshirts for once.

.. next was a train ride to the city from sutherland.. man i didnt recognise anything all the way down there in the Shire.. it was like being in another country. i was busy looking around for hobbits n elves =p it was pretty funny though we had a boom box cranking some old school 80s music =) we went to the Australian Technology Park (ATP) where hunt works, cos there is a lit basketball court where we could have some crazy basketball hip hop action. zinger pretty much jsut dominated everyone. it was heaps of fun though. i played ok.. lotsa steals and fast breaks as always in full court basketball =p

next we were sposed to go play DDR.. but we were late for karaoke so we went straight there. we booked out the 12 person room for 2 hours at k world. it was a first for a lot of the people there.. so it was cool to see what they did and what songs they went after =) me and hunt had our regular britney quota. chito has his avril.. and phil has his Under the Sea solo. =) also lots of sillyness all around from various peoples hehe. such hilarity.

:: sunday
i had to get up early to help my sister with some wedding stuff.. and to make a card for minh and thao's engagement party. so i only got about 3 or 4 hours sleep.. so tiredness. i then headed to glebe for the engagement party.. which i foolishly assumed would be somewhere near the broadway end of glebe point road. unfortunately it was like on the other side of glebe somewhere.. took me like forever to walk there. i got there and was struggling to not fall asleep =p

it was fun for the parts where i was awake enough to pay attention. i had a chance to catch up with a lot of people who i havent seen in a long while, and thats always good =) it seems so much easier to lose touch with people in this hectic real world. its not like uni where u usually bump into people quite regularly. basically unless people work near me (and we can meet up for lunch) i never get to see them. people are too busy living in the real world nowadays.. ppl are getting married and buying houses now.. aww they grow up so fast.. *sniffle*

i think they liked my gift.. and my card. i think i spent wayy too much time on the card.. i shoudlve jsut bought them a hallmark or something =p i do like the drawing though.. but the girl's head is still too big.. just not sure where i can slim it down.. hmm i wish i was a better artist. seems all the artistic skills went from my mother to my brother.. grr. i think i have bad eyes.. i jsut cant judge proportions properly.. i think i need one of those poser dolls... actualy i might go buy one .. uh.. right after pay day =p .. i was sposed to go to gabby's bday thing at the rocks after that.. but i couldnt even stay awake. so i went home to sleep.

:: monday
after a ludicrous amount of last minute organising.. we finally decided to see kill bill volume 2 at burwood. most ppl (including me) turned up late. i fell asleep on the train an went all the way to redfern, so i had to back track =p the movie was pretty rockin.. its a heaps different tempo to the first movie. some style of movie though, so its still cool. but u will like it for different reasons to why u liked the first movie. its very clever and story based, as opposed to being actiony. although there is still some action. i think it was done well though, i reakon if they did them the other way around everyone wouldve shouted it down.. kinda like how they did to the 2nd matrix movie =p

went straight to frisbee pretty much
we had the last of the rankings rounds and the first qurter final. we managed to win both, but not with any help from me. i played totally crapsticks. these two were easily my worst 2 games ever.. worse than the first games i ever played =p i jsut couldnt run.. or jump or move into space or throw the disc. i scored once.. but that was pretty much all i did the whole nite. after the rankings round, we finished 2nd overall.. so we got to play the 7th team in the quarters.. they were pretty good though.. and jumped out to a 2-0 lead on us =p i sat on the bench for a while.. so we caught up. hehe. we ended up winning by 4 i think. which is cool.

andrea was over at naremburn (up the road) so i had to wait for her .. but unfortuantely she was uber late cos she was held up somewhere. i was left standing around in the cold... eating bread i had in my bag from saturday (eww). i finaly gave up and started walking to the stn... when i spotted her car driving past to go pick me up.. so i ran back. hehe.. it wouldve sucked to carry all my gear home on the train at 11:30 ish. so i was grateful for even a late lift =)

.. ahh thats pretty much it.. exhausting..

.. in other news: i have a grand total of 18c in my bank account =p .. pay day on thursday.. phew..

ok.. nothing at work today.. its been like this for weeks... *sigh*

played frisbee today.. and we won both games. apparently by winning the first game, we came second overall in our pool.. which squared us off against the team who came second in the other pool.. which was Andrea's team. her team was previously undefeated! eep! intimidating.. hehe. she said she wouldnt give me a ride home if we beat her team.. unfortunately for me, we kicked their buts =p .. luckily she is so nice she gave me a ride anyways =) she is a gem..

anyhoo.. meh i played pretty crasp on offence today , but i played good defence. i scored once.. and made one other really long catch.. but that was about it.. i threw it away a few times =( .. but i made some good intercepts and long coverage. in practice i was throwing really well.. but i couldnt bring it onto the field.. i need to practice more.

.. oh i forgot to mention that on the weekend i gave myself a haircut.. hehe. it doesnt look heaps good, but its definately better than it was before.. it was getting out of control. its really hard to cut ur own hair =p

mmkay.. soo tired today.. havent done anything cept sleep and watch tv.. nba playoffs .. and the swannies =)

last nite we went to Together@Home.. it has been a few months since i went clubbing.. and it really showed as my knees kinda gave up after 4 hours or so. theyre rather sore this morning =p going to a free entry nite at Home is jsut asking for trouble.. u get heaps more randoms and try-hards who are in large part filtered out by the $25 cover charge =p at times there were more people jsut walking around carrying beers and looking around than there were ppl actualyl dancing. its heaps suck to be on the dance floor wedged between 2 huge white guys who are dancing the funky chicken and looking around for a single chick to rub up against. needless to say i ended up with a lot of elbows in the face. the music was ok.. the start was heaps house which i dont really like. also the first few DJs were pretty crap. the guy who started at 3 was pretty mad though =) i dunno who it was but one song was a dance mix of song 2 by blur =) hehe.

ok on weekends i do tend to fall a bit behind on my blog action.. which is a good thing.. it means im actually doing things as opposed to jsut sitting at home blogging on a friday nite =) so blogs decrease as my social activity increases .. and blogs increase as my social activity decreases.. .. man i post a lot.. =p

anyways heres the last few days:

:: thursday
started playing social streetball at lunchtimes at wooloomooloo.. it was pretty cool.. cept we played against these school kids and we kinda domiated them pretty hard. also i played heaps crapsticks =p it was fun though .. i believe i shall go again... hopefulyl we'll end up starting a team.

at nite we went to leichardt (i totally cant spell that) ... for dinner for hunt n gabby's bday. we did of course go to an italian restaurant =) it was pretty cool.. i had this salmon linguini.. which was awesome. awfully filling too. it was BYO and Gus and Shelly has this sparkling italian white wine.. which was incredible.. it sorta tasted like lemonade.. but heaps nicer and alcoholic =) khanh also tried to explain to me the difference between a good red and a crap red.. the good red was Jacobs Creek (the official wine supplier of the rugby world cup =) and the crap one was some random cheap wine that Gus bought. and i think i sorta understood the diff. i could definately taste the difference.. the crap one tasted like bad vodka and cordial.. apaprently it tasted "woody" .. but i dun really know what that means =p

work = bleh
i bought a dvd burner..

after work i went to the leagues club with some work ppl.. cos i had some time to kill. kinda stayed for a few drinks.. and watched them foolishly squander their monies on pokies or keno. so dumb.. we jsut spent time paying out pointy heads (economists) .. i dun really know why theyre called pointy heads.. but they jsut are =p

next i headed to Julia's bday drinks at the Slip Inn.. i was a bit late.. and a bit tipsy by then =p caught up with a few ppl, mostly girls from uni who i never talked to cos they were too cool for me.. hehe.. other than that i was ok. jsut got more alcohol in me... *staggers*. some of the girls were talking about this guy at the party who liked this other girl at the party.. and they said he was too short for her.. tsk tsk some ppl can be so shallow =p he was actually still taller than her.. but apaprently the guy needs to be at least a head taller to qualify.. man thats bad news for me.. im not a head taller than anyone =p

.. onwards to Pancakes at the rocks with some anime ppl. i dun really hang out with them anymores.. they all kinda grew up and moved on.. which is understandable. it was cool to catch up with some of them anyways.. i guess id forgotten what entertaining people they can be =) they are rather amusing .. so silly. nancy kept going on about she wanted to go on this ghost thing.. where we'd all dress up as ghosts and run around doing trick or treat.. cept not at halloween.. and also somewhere like homeworld.. so theyre like empty houses. bizarre.. but sounds fun in a childish sorta way =) also talked about the same ghost idea.. but like at some cave clan things .. hehe. jeaden paid me $1 to drink this mystery drink.. which turned out to be jsut water and maple syrup.. it was totally disgusting.. made me wanna not eat anything sweet ever again =p sheralyn cut her hair and streaked it red.. it made her look even smaller (if thats possible) but she was trendy as always.. she had these kick boxing shoes on, which she apparently got some store so cheap that it mustve been stolen =p .. mikey had this cool shoulder bag which i want to steal.. he got it for $5.. damn!! i want one =p .. anyhoos.. keeping with tradition, instead of actually doing anything after we jsut wandered from corner to corner being undecided and talking about random things till ppl started slowly dropping off and we jsut went home. needless to say i got home stupidly late.. *sigh*

:: saturday
woke up heaps early for some unknown reason.. i spent a few hours trying for fix my puter which wasnt booting up at the time.. but i dun know crap about computers so i watched some tv instead. later on my brother woke up and fixed it in about 10 mins .. damnit. anyways its all working fine now.

gah.. my new puter is deadness already... *sigh*
theres something not quite right about it. i dunno what though.. firstly when i play UT2K4 i get in ok.. and play for a few mins.. then it freezes the whole puter.. grr. also when i try to install photoshop, jsut nothing happens.. the setup file wont run. its quite bizarre. im considering re-installing windows.

in other news: my parents are out of town! freedom!! .. or something.. i kinda did whatever i liked anyways =p party at ian's place soon if u wanna hike all the way to thornleigh (which u probly dont). something along the lines of cocktails and dvds... and DDR.. =) not this weekend. probly next saturday.

after sitting in nige's car a lot over the past weekend ive totally been listening to heaps of dance music.. mostly as we were refilled the radiator in the middle fo the expressway =p but anyways.. i leeched a bunch of his house/trance mp3s at the LAN.. i havent been clubbing for almost a year.. im totally getting old =p i kinda feel like going.. but at the same time i know i would get tired after about an hour =p

been listening to a lot of trance remixes of jpop.. mainly Ayumi Hamasaki.. its like the music of the future or something.. in the future when every1 is japanese.. i bet theyd listen to music like this =)

.. in other news, after talking to a few ppl about Tenny's farm trip.. ive concluded that i made the right decision not to go =) not only would i have found it boring.. but i wouldve been totally lightbulbed. the LAN was awesome anyways =)

also it looks like ill get to stay in nige's place for 3 weeks while him and grace are in china =) if u didnt know, he lives in Chippendale..in the city.. woohoo! ahh a taste of the non-commuter life .. at least for a while. maybe itll convince me to finally move out. =)

LAN LAN Revolution
ok.. i havent really posted all the long weekend cos i havent really been home. i left work on thrusday and went to have a quick dinner with jel. although it seems everytime i see her nowadays she just ends up shopping the whole time... anyhoo.. i went straight to cecil's "my parents are away" party in marsfield.. it was pretty suck.. probly cos i couldnt remember who anyone was.. i hardly seen cecil for 2 years.. i totally cant remember who any of her friends are =p

that nite i stayed over at nige's place .. intending to get up early the enxt day and buy a new puter. but the store was closed.... and so was every other store in sydney pretty much... ppl started turning up for the LAN.. and we totally had no food at all.. we all ate weetbix and rice bubbles all day. which isnt all that unusual for me =p the rest of the day was mostly playing UT2k4.. and watching lots of the Frasier marathon..

once more i got up early hoping to go buy a new puter in the morning... and we managed to find the store open =).. but there was some stupid thing where the store had all their stock at their old shop .. and so i couldnt get exactly what i wanted without having to wait for hours on end, and frankly i couldnt be bothered... unfortunately, my brother could be bothered.. so we waited for ages for his puter parts. *sigh*.. i ended up getting an athlon64 3000 with a radeon 9600XTG.. not exactly a super computer, but its still light years ahead of my uber-broken puter at home. i bought the cheapest case in the store.. and it was pretty cool it was black and had a handle on top for carrying it to LANs =) .. much more UT2K4 and Frasier for the rest of the day.

sunday was a pretty lazy day.. a bit of gaming... a bit of futurama.. and bit more Frasier.. and some basketball and soccer thrown in for good measure. also i managed to leech a bunch of divx's off ppl =) jsut kinda sat aroudn dazed n stuff for the rest of the day cos none of us had enough sleep.

monday was jsut a wrap up and clean up sorta day with a bit of gaming. also watched the end of Frasier.. and burnt the last of what we wanted to leech... then i had to rush off to play ultimate frisbee.. i was totally tired and had no place going to do any sort of running or jumping of any kind.. i basically felt sick the whole game.. but i did play pretty well =) and we managed to win both games =) that kinda makes up for the two losses we suffered last week. i got home at almsot 11pm.. so tired.. but i wanted to play with my new puter for a bit =p hehe

nothing much going on after work either.. jsut went home and did the same =p
some of them are pretty cool.. other ones i totally cant understand how they work.. the instructions are really confoosing.

work is totally whack lately.. im not doing anything cept sleeping and playing final fantasy tactics.

anyhoos.. i went to the Kings game.. game 5 in a best of 5 grand final series =)
it was almost a packed house of over 9000 ppl in the entertainment centre. so tense.

the kings started out heaps crapsticks.. they we down 10 points early.. and were down by as many as 17 at one point. i was pulling my hair out a bit.. none of their shots were going down.. not even free throws. but they staged a remarkable comeback.. and tied it with 2 mins to go.. and ran out to win by 11 as the razorbacks choked badly.

it was easily the best game ive seen live, in terms of atmosphere and intensity.. it was awesome.. especially since they won =)

first day of the hat tournament for ultimate frisbee.. its called a hat tournament cos teams are allocated randomly, but pulling names out of a hat =)

anyhoos.. it was heaps rainy and muddy for the first round of games.. and i played terribles. i totaly sucked in fact. but i normally kinda suck =p
we lost both games.. and my legs were totally deadness at the end. luckily i scored a ride home from Andrea.. phew.. that was a lifesaver =)

also at the end, i looked at my phone and i had 6 missed called from a "Withheld Number" .. which normally means Hunt.. but it was him this time.. dunno who needs to talk to me so urgently that theyd ring 6 times =p

i actually had 3 different things to go to on friday nite.. but due to final fantasy tactics i completely forgot and was in thornleigh before i realised. eep and i was totally bored when i got home too.. which makes it even more teh suck.

was sposed to go to MSY and buy a puter.. but it was closed =p *sigh* .. instead we went to DFO and i bought some shorts for the new frisbee season which starts tommolo =) just watched the final four for the rest of the day..

was sposed to go KGV to play basketball.. but it rained out.. *shrugs* spent the day watching crap on tv.. then the swans victory!! and then some rugby crap... and then the Kings victory =) ..

a pretty average weekend.. meh.. ill try and do better on the long weekend.. hopefully =p

in other news... annie won first prize in the creative cake decorating competition at the easter show!! omg.. i wish i had some skill which could win competitions.. *jealous*.. anyways.. heres her cake or more correctly "cake".. cos its a carboard box covered in marzipan =p

seems like im going backwards or something.. keep bumping into ppl who i havent seen in like forever..
today i bumped into Paul from high school at wynyard.. who i starting work at the commbank, just down the road. havent really seen him in about 3 years.. or more maybe. pretty craziness.. also been chatting to Frances on msn.. havent seen her in at least 2 years.. and i guess technically i still havetn seen her =p

anyways heres what ive been doing:
tuesday: lunch with kallie.. um.. thats about it =p deadness at work.. spent most of my time playing final fantasy tactics on GBA..

wednesday: another dead day at work.. bleh.. after work i went to the UTS anime drawign session.. which was basically jsut Annie =p which is ok =) the others were all mad drawers.. im totally teh suck compared to them.. kinda cool to see what they were drawing though.. get ideas n stuff. i still cant draw hands! grr..

thursday: oh.. thats today.. um.. nothing so far.. but will probly go shopping tonite, cos its pay day =)
