jsut hanging around
had nothing planned fer friday.. so i jsut hung out in the ct.. starting of course at KK =p had dinner then walked around catching up with an old friend =) it was very pleasant..it was nice to not be at a party for once.. i like quiet nites much more than rowdy ones. jsut doesnt happene enuf.. but i guess i run out of things to talk about =p

bumped into kush on the street.. and i asked him where he was going.. and he says.. "an alleyway" and im like .. uh... ok..=p
he was going to this art exhibit which he had a piece in. and it literally was in an alleyway =p this alleyway near General Pants on george st.. it went down the alley and behind the building a bit.. and it was packed out with uber-arty strangers.. and a few no-so-strangers =p The exhibit was a bunch of shoes.. yes shoes.. which were redesigned one way or another.. there were a lot of converse all-stars in there =) there was one with blining red lights and covered in pr0n.. another with a nintendo cartridge and chip embedded into it.. one which was completely covered in yellow candle wax... and a black Nike shoe handcuffed.. and with "is it cos im black" written on it =p

gah.. ate dinner out everyday this week.. cept monday. and expensive dinners at that...

oh.. in other news: im thinking of buying an apartment in Potts Point area.. its near my work.. and for some reason its uber-cheap.. like sub-$200k.. ill need to take timeout and go inspect a few places.. but it looks the goods.

philby's bday.. at Cafe Pacifico .. this swish lil mexican place in east sydney.. twas good atmosphere fro a thursday nite.. and they had the besto spicey salsa dip.mmm..

food was good too.. although bunny (who didnt get the set menu with us) was forced to wait an eternity for the sketchiest nachos in history.. they were basically jsut corn chips and cheese =p we had these DIY fajita's muchly tasty.. although i was pretty full before i even started eating them =p

wednesday
w00t had $120 left in my wallet and tis pay day =)
went to work spending it stupidly.. like $55 worth of dessert at the ANA =p
hehe well that was actually 3 ppls worth of dessert.. but still pricey .. it was good food.. but after 2 plates of nothing but dessert it gets a bit much to handle.. and im not a big fan of really sweet food.

.. in other news: i was watching south park tonite.. was soo funny.. cartman wants to meet more mature ppl. so he goes ont he itnernet and joins a channel called "men who like young boys" and says "i am a young boy who wants to have a good time with older men". *roffles*..

i feel quite spectacularly lethargic today.. my head feels like it weighs a tonne.. and my tummy feels like its churning sour milk..

.. in other news.. i met up with amy for "lunch" today.. although it was early enuf to be morning tea =p .. she had was in town this morning for an interview at AMP. which apparently didnt go that well.. =p

i finally killed Riku/Ansem.. w00t me.. took a lot of levelling up .. hehe.. and then i got stuck in a cutscene for the next 20 mins .. gah.. a save point, a save point, my kingdom for a save point!!

MTV: Made
i saw this show on MTV called Made.. and they basically take a loser and make him/her into something they want to be.. this ep was this guy named Michael.. who was a puter nerd.. and wanted to make the Varsity basketball team.. so he would be cool.. and get respect.

it was really kinda funny.. but interesting at the same time.. i wish i could be a varisty basketball star..
they guy started out with like no ball skills at all.. and they hired a basketball coach to teach him to play.. and they go thru 6 weeks of training.. and show how he improves.. and how he wanted to quit cos it was too hard.. but he persevered.. and made his dreams come true.. by believing in himself =)

this one is semi-ghey =p.. but thats ok.. cos its only the first part of a bunch of comics which kinda fit together.. i hope.. hehe
the drawings also suck heaps.. cos i was too lazy to do them properly.. meh.

grad party
went to the RnB graduation party in teh city.. it was a tad ghey.. but i did get a chance to catch up wif a few ppl who i dun see very often which is always good =) other than that it was a bit of a yawn..

seems everyone is taking up smoking.. in the past week ive learnt that 3 of my friends (who i thought were non-smokers) are actually smokers.. gah..*cough* my lungs..

learn how to speak
over thursday and friday i was at a presentation skills training course over at Kirribilli..

it was quite amusing =p.. they video taped us all and playd it back.. so we could see how crasp me we all were.. hehe.. i got told that dispite my lack of professionalism and vocal power.. i was "naturally energetic" hehe.. i dunno if thats good =p.. but it apparently makes my speeches less boring than the others..

we did these seemingly uber-ghey mouth exercises.. like blowing raspberries.. and doing sumo yells.. but they helped out a lot in vocal projection.. =)

the food at Kirribilli was exquisite as always.. mm soo tasty.. barramundi, steak..and so much more. =)

i woke up this morning with an eye infection.. boo.. i had ice on it all morning in an attempt to reduce the swelling..i got it to a poitn where it was quite aceptable.. but its still quite noticeable.. gah.. such bad luck..

the ceremony was about as exciting as i thought it would be.. i.e. not very =p no good stunts by anyone.. cept Alymer's hat off bow to the chancellor =p

on the way he wanted to stop at this cheesy bar full of old ppl and stuff.. cos he likes that sorta thing =p he was saying how he wanted to be a regular and meet all of them and find out about their lives.. weirdness. =p

matricies
friday.. later on: we run to line up fer Matrix: Reloaded.. we got on the end of a huge line.. and we were at the bottom of some firestairs.. where it was incredibly stuffy and rather warm as well. just kinda stood and suffer heat stroke for half an hour or so.. *pulls collar*

neways.. every1 hated the movie cept me =p
although i did find it very easy to pay out the movie.. with some seriously nerdy compsci jokes about how the matrix would work as an OO model =p
i didnt think it was that bad.. i can kinda see where theyre goin with it.. ill make a final decision after seeing the 3rd movie... cos i can see that either making or breaking this trilogy.

top 5 things i didnt like about reloaded..
5) it sorta makes the 1st movie invalid.. or makes it less monumental
4) music .. well it was just bad choice of sbg music and timing..
3) the cgi models were overused for neo.. sometimes it looked like matrix the game.. like sketchy models..
2) it wasnt a stand alone movie.. like if i hadnt seen the first one.. i coudlnt watch this and enjoy it.

rumbly
friday: was sposed to starrt the 40 hr famine.. so i was gonna have a big-ish meal.. so, we're at superbowl.. and we order at about 7:15-ish.. at about 7:30.. 3 of our dishes come out.. and i have a lil bit to eat.. no rice or noodles though.. so im siiting there waiting for the substantial part of the meal.. but it doesnt come out.. so we keep bugging the waiters.. and still nothing.. now its 8.. and the waiters are askin us if we're ready to leave.. and we say we're still waiting on food.. gah.. the food didnt come out till almost 8:30.. so i had to start half an hour late.. meh

my kingdom for an hour of sleep..
i fell asleep on he train last nite.. and fell forward and hit my head really hard ont he seat in front.. and a bunch of ppl turned around and looked at me..so embarassing..

went home and played more kingdom hearts =)
i cleared the Monstro level.. gah its like a maze inside that whale =p and started doign the uber-ghey Atlantica (isnt it atlantis?) level.. where im a mer-man.. and goofy is turtle.. and donald is an octopus.. =p

i am teh ghey.. i wasted my whole sunday playing kingdom hearts =) on the new playstation2 at my house =) w00t me.. hehe
i played all day, then went to save my game.. but i realsed i had no memory card =p.. so i left my ps2 on all ntie and day, till i got home from work with one.. so i coudl save my game =p i was sposed to update my webcomic.. but i lost track of time..

i did it tonite instead.. its very relevnat to what actually happened on the weekend.. =p

i am the very model of a modern major general
went out to Windsor tonite to see Mikey's version of Pirates of Penzance. It was a small high school production, but still good =) mikey was heaps good in it. him and the girl who played Ruth, were easily the best. the other guys were good at acting, but didnt sing as well.

eep Windsor is a hike out of town =p took us ages to get there since we went thru Penrith... i got a ride from kath in the gossipy girl car =p it was like a road trip.. even though i think we technically never left Sydney.. hehe. like we had to stop and get supplies. was all good fun though =)

we had dinner at this lil quiet pizza place in Windsor.. and bunny had a cokke, which kinda made her hyper.. and she felt inclined to repeatedly punch my arm till they were both rather sore.. ouchies =p

we hung out for a bit afterwards in hhe maccas carpark at Richmond.. cos its the happening place to be =p and a bunch of white ppl were giving us the "omg asian ppl in our town" look =p hehe

in other news.. i finally got my megatokyo blanket off bunny =) its soo big and warm =) mm .. ill post up a pic next webcam update..

friday at work was deadness al usual.. but after work was thao's bday..

had some time to kill.. so me and kallie went to have a peek at KK =p and then had some coffee at Jet cafe at QVB. met up with David and then Amy.. then went off to the party. twas on Glebe Point Road at this Thai place..

all the old skool kids were there.. and some other ppl who i kinda knew.. but didnt really know =p twas quite nice to catch up with a few of the snobs who i never see =p.. i was rather full.. so i didnt eat all that much. Thao.. got a few rather interesting presents =p like this piece of clothing for Ming.. which was ..um.. lets jsut say it was in the shape of an elephant's head =p lol

afterwards headed to the house of the twins to sit around and talk about how nice their photos of Europe were =)
i got a lift home from the Prime Minister, John Howard.. hehe.. yawn.. twas 2am though =p

ok. so this guy from work brings his 1yo son in to work today.. he such a cutie =) hehe
but whats more amusing is that his son can only say 2 words.. the first word is "yes" and the other is.. "beyblade" lol.. thats soo good hehe

... yesterday i was in the bathroom at te rba.. in a stall.. and i ontice that ont he floor there appears to be fingernail or toenail clippings.. eww.. firstly who goes into the bathroom to cut their nails.. and secondly who cuts them and leaves them all over the floor? gah.. woe to the cleaners..

gah i took lunch at 12 today.. and man.. it makes the afternoons painfull.. seems to be lasting an eternity..

homemake pizza and nite rides
after bible study i went voer to cally+mendel's place to try out some homemade pizza. twas all very tasty =) their place is heaps nice, although the whole complex is not finished.. later on it will apparently have a swimming pool =)

got home on the last train =( 12:11 at Strathfield.. not too bad.. since it gets me home at about 1am..
but i fell asleep on the train... and some guy woke me up at Hornsby.. where i had to get off and wait for hte 1:15am nite ride
i ended up getting home at almost 2am after the bus and walk.. *sigh*

the dark side
ack ive turned tot he dark side.. started playing warcraft3.. ive been working my way thru the single player campaigns to get used to the heroes and the units and the build hierachy.. im not good jsut get.. but im getting there... hopefully ill be able to play decent by the time the next LAN party comes along. =)

midget wrestling
so last nite im watching stupidly late nite tv and i turn on what appears to be midget wrestling.. like WWF or NWA but with midgets..there was one guy who claimed he would rid the world of all midgets.. and the commentators were asking "so when he does kill them all, what next? suicide?" cos he was a midget too =p

gah.. finished this one at almost 5am.. (i was watching cricket) im not 100% happy with it, but at this hour i cant be bothered to change it =p

went all the way into the ct to meet every1 for dinner.. and ended up waiting around b10 for ages.. and not seeing many ppl.. and then we went to dinner at GPK (which is hecka nice btw) and then jsut going home =p .. a bit of a waste of 3 hours of travelling time =p

gah.. missed my train this morning.. but in the end it worked out ok cos id actually forgotten my phone.. i ran home to get and and only ended up being 2 trains late..
normally i wouldnt bother going back to get my phone, but i figured id need it later that day.. which i did =)

the day in general was a bit of a yawn.. i fell asleep at my desk as usual.. went out to lunch with kallie.. then came back and had drinks..
i got in trouble cos i posted something that kallie said once.. =p so from now on ill just say i did lunch .. hehe

after work i ran aroudn the city heaps doign not very much at all =p
started at the Castle where there were a bunch of Sydney Water ppl consuming large amounts of alcohol.. i sat and inhaled second hand smoke for a while.. till we left for the Cleveland Bar for $8.50 cocktails..mm.. we spent ages trying to get a cab, and int he end caught a bus.. and walked a bit from Fox. we got there very late and had about half an hour of happy hour left.. and no time for dinner other than nachos and wedges =p next. caught a cab back to the ct where all the kids i was with went to see Xmen2.. wchich id seen already =) i was gonna head home, but my friend called to see if i wanted to hang out.. and i did =) so i met up with her for coffee and such.. i havent seen her for like ages.. so it was nice to catch up and talk about how things are in the world..

after that i went home via the train, where i fell asleep and got a sore neck =p

XP invasion
so im at work and im chatting on MSN.. and i turn around to go draw a webcomic.. and when i turn around, someone has started installing Office XP on my puter..
i found out they were sposed to install winXP.. but didnt get a chance.. so i guess i got out ok =p

xmen2!!
*jaw drops in amazement* this movie was good..but good in the way that spiderman was good.. that is, i dont have anything bad to say about it. special effects were nice, plot was good, acting was acceptable.. just didnt have enuf of a wow-factor. like nothing i havent seen before, no real quoteable quotes, or any particulary interesting cinematography.

ill still go see the third movie though =p apparently its gonna be some Dark Phoenix action ..
