Spring training all week.. which is training using the Spring Framework as opposed to training in Spring =p
i thought it was this simple java web app configuration tool.. but its oh so much more. its based around the idea of Inversion of Control (ioc) in an attempt to promote more pure OO. it basically means u have a controller which tells objects how they should be configured instead of objects knowing how to retrieve their configuration from somewhere. this means objects only do their own business logic.. instead of platform dependent configuration. theres heaps more than that like a MVC framework (which pwns Struts) and security frameworks .. but more than i care to go into here.. check it out if ur as much of a nerd as me.
disappointingly frisbee was cancelled this week .. grrr.. instead me, nige, cameron, lachlan went to my local to have a lil practice session. it was like the silliest practice ever.. but i think we all got something out of it. we've determined that my msot accurate throw is my hammer.. and that i should never throw a backhand in a game ever again =p we jsut kinda mucked around for a while after, like playing on the playground equipment which was there and throwing around corners and such. nige managed to throw a frisbee on the roof of the clubhouse.. so i climbed up to get the disc whilst wearing cleats .. which probly didnt do that much good to them. i threw the disc down thru a bunch of trees.. and didnt see where it went.. but as i was climbing i heard nige scream and the others burst out laughing.. as i managed to hit nige in the groin .. and he was writhing in pain on the ground =p as amusing nite all around.
i went tot he gym tonite =) which i havent done.. well ever. im heaps weak.. like i was doing half of what the other guys were lifting.. and im ok with that =p ive always been more of a speed guy than a strength guy. im gonna try and get there semi-regularly.. although ill probly be doing cardio mostly.. with maybe some upper body endurance weight training.. (for basketball shooting =)
.. i went to the bar 333 pool comp after with the boys.. and lost in the first round =p i totally suck now .. not that i was ever that good. i havent really had to chance to jsut hang out with guys and do manly things since high school =p ive been hanging out with work ppl a bit lately.. and its pretty cool .. albeit quite alcohol related =p
