..meanwhilst, back at the LAN..
ack i had to type this blog twice cos netscape sucks ass..

.. went back to a steaming hot LAN, lots of ppl and lots of puters running overtime.. heaps of ppl were there when i got back. busy busy.. some ppl that i dotn see much too =)

i managed to get some gaming in by playing on Will's laptop, then nige's puter, then phil's puter, then gus' puter, then chito's puter =p
played w3 (which im heaps n00b at), q3, q3ctf, cs, and a lil battlefield.

not the most eventful LAN ive been at but lots of ppl and lots of wactual gaming as opposed to everyone trying to isntall network cards and such =p

played out thru the nite, watched some invader zim =) and fell asleep. woke up to more gaming =)

noogie's puter spent the whole weekend burning anime off his harddive for various different ppl =p linda was burning stuff all nite jeje

at the last minute, my brother brought my puter cos he managed to fry the motherboard by sticking some RAM in there =p..

ending up not playing on my puter at all..
went home to do itpd, but did nothing cos i had no puter. =(

animania ^_^
went to animania today, joined by some anime kids, linda, liz, hoe, nancy, helena, rikku.

i got a free tshirt =) bright orange with lil chibi anime characters ont he front, twas drawn by Annie from unsw or usyd, or mackeller girls.. or whereever she is from =p..

it was hardly the most excitement ive had, but still good fun =)
the debate and the cosplay competition were both really funny =p
this guy did dbz impersonations, his krillin voice was priceless

his name was Jordan, and it turns out he is a friend of shelly, who came to say hello. dave came later on to have a look aroudn too =)

umm.. we ordered pizza cos the bbq didnt look too appealing =p it was $24.70 for 2 large pizzas. but only $21.70 for 2 large pizzas and 4 ice-creams.. weird =p

i bought the last 5 evangelion dvd's to complete my set =) yay.. i bargained the guy down from $135, eventually down to $110.10.. that was all the money i had on me, plus some of khanie's money..

.. after that nige came and squeezed us in his car and went off back to tenny's LAN party...

long time no post =p

things i did last week include:
wed: performed peer network interviews, saw lots of ppl this day.. too many to list, but ppl i dont normally see..
thurs: umm.. i cant remmeber =p
friday: um.. not much.. slept at tenny's shop in preparation for animania. watched them build puters all nite =p

some public holiday
spent the day with khanie ^_^ a lovely picnic at bicentennial park. twas rather warm but good company =)

afterwards went to burwood and bought some jeans, normall fitting ocne for once =p turned out to be on special.. bonus

sunday:
not much going on today.. watched mroe cricket.. played some SSX Tricky..

inter-uni anime club soccer was sposed to be today.. but i was feelign crook in the morning so i bailed..
also i was rather tired, after getting home late. got woken up by a phone call from cecil asking about projectors =p

watched a bit of cricket today.. attempting to start my design project final report.. not doign well =(

cruisin
friday morning i was sposed to go to the premiere of Spirited Away at Dendy, but i wasnt feeling well so i didnt go. Stayed at home and played battelfield instead =p played multiplayer online for the first time.. pretty tough opponents.. though i was top10 more often than not.

AYBC cruise was on friday nite..
due to a train mix up i got there very late, only jsut getting there on tiem for the boat.
i knew a suprisingly large number of ppl on the boat, some compscis, some peer networkers.. all good fun =)
it wasnt that exciting though, jsut sat around and talked mostly.. got up and danced for a song or two =p not pretty keke

to run a marathon
anime marathon on thursday.. photon went suprisingly well, cosndiering everyone wanted more guu..i think photon is good though =p
i missed a big chunck of the marathon.. didnt really feel like sitting and watching a screen.. also saw Miranda graduating ..

dinner at kansai was muchly fun. there was this big mix up with orders and they were that friendly.. but it worked out ok in the end.
met lots of new ppl =) especially from other unis. I ordered the set menu D with kangaroo and crocodile =)

nite finished at K-world.. we had so many ppl we needed 2 rooms =) twas a pretty standard set of songs, except for one guy singing the theme to Gatachaman (aka G-Force) in japanese, very entertaining..

was sposed to go see the star wars exhibit (on tuesday), but didnt really feel like it so i piked. stayed at home and played battlefield instead.

at nite went to see Austin Powers 3 with nige and the old schools at castle hill.
twas pretty average.. didnt really flow that well although some parts were funny..the ending pretty much sucked =p

dinner at bunny's
did nothing much during the day on monday.. then had a 5 minute sdcs meeting at uni.. *yawn*

afterwards we headed to bunny's house for a home cooked dinner =) muchly tasty.. bunny cooks a good meal.
the choc-dipped strawberries were particularly scrumptous keke
we played some pool, then played guys vs girls pictionary and taboo..
they scraped thru with a win in both, due to some blatant cheating =p
